Laser Mole Removal

Are you hoping to get rid of moles, skin tags, warts, birth marks and other unwanted lesions without going under the knife? You’re in the right place.

Our clinics offer laser mole removal with RF surgery. While RF surgery has “surgery” in its name, it’s actually a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency waves for precise removal of raised skin lesions. The laser allows for great accuracy and for treatment of delicate areas that would be difficult for excision-based removal. Additionally, the treatment is extremely versatile making it powerful and effective for a variety of benign skin lesions.

This procedure requires minimal downtime and can be done safely within the office without the need of general anesthesia. Local anesthesia will be applied to the area to ensure maximum comfort, and you’ll be able to resume your typical activities soon. If you’re planning on being out in the sun after treatment, we just advise that you wear sunscreen.

Compared to excision-based surgical mole removal methods, laser mole removal is more precise and better-tolerated with much less pain and downtime. Also, RF mole removal can treat delicate areas that would otherwise prove difficult using traditional methods.
From the patient’s perspective, treatment is fairly simple and low pain. The laser will target specific cells to remove unwanted lesions, leaving the patient with a small burn on the surface which will heal very quickly by forming a scab that tends to fall within the first week. Healthy skin is revealed underneath which will continue to heal over several weeks until it becomes mature skin. (Please note: Each case is unique so this timeline may vary.)
No general anesthesia is necessary. Only a small application of local anesthetic is used.
